Israeli Religious Services Minister Matan Kahana met November 18 with representatives of organizations advocating for a Jewish Temple at Masjid al-Aqsa. This was the first time an Israeli religious services minister met with the organizations.”We pray three times a day for the Holy Temple and even mention in it the blessing after the meal (Birkat Hamazon,)” said Kahana after the meeting. “Temple Mount is the holiest site in Judaism,” he added.

Masjid al-Aqsa is the second mosque to be established on earth, and the first qiblah of the Muslim Ummah.

The meeting is the latest sign of overt co-operation between Temple Movements and the Israeli State.
